I am a sucker for narrow streets, gardens and small cafes. No wonder I became enamoured with Notting Hill the moment I stepped foot here. Every street seemed to get prettier and prettier, with its beautiful rows of pastel colour buildings, pink painted doors, and white columns and black fences with unique detailing. I honestly felt like I was put in a set of the most romantic movie, and since it was spring, flowers bloomed everywhere making it an even more magical experience. If ever in London, a day there is a must in anyones agenda.
One of the reasons why I wanted to visit Notting Hill was to try a cup of rose latte in the place to be, called Farm Girl Cafe! This latte is infused with rose water and decorated with dried crushed petals of roses. I mean my day just kept getting dreamier! A delicious ending to a very healthy lunch that consisted of avocado on toast and an acai bowl. It gets vey busy here, especially on a sunny day when everyone wants to sit outside. I was lucky enough to get the pink table to maintain my girly date in Notting Hill.
Portobello Road has a great outdoor market, everyday of the week you can find different things from vintage clothing to household goods. I came on a Saturday, a day for antiques.
To complete an already perfect afternoon, a visit to the most beautiful flower stand I have ever seen! Wild at Heart, a specialty florist that makes utterly gorgeous arrangements to win any women’s heart. Still thinking of ways to bring flowers to Dubai. This is the girliest twentyfour yet!
