Eats in Bali

Bali is seriously a paradise for food lovers like me, I could easily spend endless days simply enjoying their numerous cafes and restaurants. The options are endless, great ambiance, outstanding food, and the most hospitable service.

Breakfast choice is always Peloton Supershop. This vegan restaurant in Canggu serves the most delicious pancakes and smoothies. Expect a super cozy interior with touches of wood and plenty of natural lighting, making it the perfect place to start each morning.

Seminyak is the place to spend a full day for its many shops, spas and beach scene, I have discovered plenty of options for delicious eats there. Revolver serves the best flat white in town, hidden in one of the many streets crossing Jl Kayu Aya, make sure to look up for the sign! They have expanded in size since the first time I was there, adding plenty of seating to this edgy and underground place.

Further  down on Jl Kayu Aya, Café Bali. A beautiful spot in an old colonial house serving a mix of everything. Plenty of salads, Balinese food, and even some pasta. Everything is fresh and very tasty.

The ultimate place for  an early dinner or just tapas in the late afternoon is Sardine. I am in love with this place! Amazing selection of fresh seafood and surrounded by rice fields. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the scenery that Bali is so famous for, but make sure to book ahead.

Potato Head in Seminyak is THE place to spend the afternoon chilling by the infinity pool. This beachfront place has a unique architecture, super cool décor and stunning sunsets.     A selection of  handcrafted cocktails are available at the bar, and three restaurants serving a variety of food.

One of Bali’s most famous place for sunset is Rock Bar in AYANA Resort. The minimalist and innovative architecture alone is a sight not to be missed, and it’s unique setting on a secluded limestone cliff makes it the perfect place to enjoy an unobstructed view of the Indian ocean. Weekends and the golden hour is a very busy time, I recommend arriving early or calling a day before to ensure an effortless experience.
